The arse end of cyclone Debbie has finally reached the bottom end of the state. I only half-glanced at the news, but there was some mention of a month's worth of rain in one day. I'm not sure if it was whatever we've received so far or the March average. My guess would be the former; it's been very dry lately.

Yeah, about 1000km from here. I don't watch much TV, but I just saw a brief video of where it had hit.
