I was half watching an American TV show and the use of "dog" as slang got me thinking. I think it's weird that even though dogs are highly regarded in Western culture, to call someone a "dog" in Australia is considered highly offensive, then I started thinking about all the other animals that are used as a manner of offence, and I came up with quite a list
