It was really bugging me from the day I saw it (no Germans around to confirm), right up until I visited a natural science museum in Belgium, where I finally found a taxidermy of of the one I saw. When I got home I googled it and voilà - part of the weasel family. Weird that I'd never seen or heard of them before, because I used to watch nature shows all the time when I was a kid.
