Sorry :o Turns out I'm completely unaware that some of the terms we use for things are colloquial/dialect until I say something to a non-Australian. For example, I'm glad the first time I went to England, I had an English friend warn me that "pants" doesn't mean the same thing in England as it does in Australia :o

Do you know how hard it is to say "trousers" when you're used to saying "pants" all the time! :o

just went back from a short walk- whole street full with ambulances,police and firefighters. :eek:

Seems that in the neigbours house was a smell of gas....but thank goddes there was nothing to find...
