I baked it myself and it's pretty good, yeah, although nothing special. It was a prototype for Halloween, I just didn't get around the fact that if I bake a cake, I'll have to eat it xD

Heya!

I got a job offer via LinkedIn for a 6-month contract. The offer is for a company where I worked 6 years ago for them.

I love my current job in IT (SCCM Admin, Packaging, reporting) but just for the heck of it, I proposed a ridiculus high hourly rate and the firm doesn't seem to be suprised and they want to meet me. hmmm... 2 things come in mind..

1- They expected this rate (or even higher)

or 2- They don't give a shit because they just want to meet me to have a new candidate in thier database.

I will go meet them tomorrow.. We'll see...

When you already have a job is a great time to shoot high. That's what I always do too I have one on the line that I have been waiting since January from where I used to work also. If I get it that will give me about 30k more / year than what I am making right now - score!

They already replaced the little Halloween stuff they had with Christmas stuff weeks ago...

That pisses me off too! The stores here can't even wait until Thanksgiving is over before they have Christmas stuff out. I refuse to even think about it until December 1st.

I agree. I am on the good side to negociate I don't think I will take the offer but at least, I know how much I can bid

Yeah me too! It is supposed to be a more permanent position as opposed to this stupid contract work I have been stuck with lately.
