Bon done my shopping for Wacken.
BBQ , coal, fire blocks, coca cola, beer, and the rest will either be bought in Best, or I'll support the local dealers. Only have to take diesel for the car in a small tank. But that's for Monday morning in Best.

We might cross path on Monday. We have to shop for our camping gear as well. Our plane land at 8:50am monday morning and we are going straight to Decathlon.

We likely won't be getting into town until 2pm. Once we
load the gear into the car, not all of us will fit. lol which
means a couple of us will take the shuttle in. No biggie,
really. Since the shuttle ride into Wacken from Itzehoe is
a rager in itself! Gonna try and stop by the Night Light
to meet a few others from over here who are also
attending.

One of our friends had to forfeit two Wacken passes
because... well... life happens!! lol so far one pass already
got claimed but the other is up for grabs. Usually Night
Light is a reliable place to unload extra Wacken passes
without having to stand outside the festival entrance.

About 1:30am here and I'm in my pack & procrastinate
stage. lol The phone I bought(LG V50 ThinQ 5G), I have
to return to the store because the case it requires isn't
sold in stores, nor do I have the time to wait around for a
mail order before I board a plane. A very cool phone, but
without an Otterbox case, it wouldn't survive a visit to
Wacken. Fortunately it's still within the 30 day period so
it shouldn't be an issue to return. Besides, from what I
gather, it'll be another year or two at least before the US
West Coast is able to roll out 5G speed. I may have to
bite the bullet and get a $100 burner phone from Target.

So, sleep very little tonight. lol I'll have plenty of time to
sleep between San Francisco & London!

So we broke some record temperatures here yesterday. Looks like today is going to be even hotter.
It's almost as hot as yesterday but it's still a few hours of temperature rises to go.

Yesterday, 38.8° in Kleine Brogel (LImburg, Belgium) and the day before 38.6° in Hechtel-Eksel (Limburg, B) and (again) Liege!
And in Ukkel/Uccle the heat record has been broken as well! 36.8° at the KMI/IRM weather service!
