But it seems Berlin isn't the typical German city!
And I'm still dreaming of returning to Berlin one day.![]()
you'll make it, it's only a few hours by train.

I know. But as a family man, it's not that easy to just "jump" onto Berlin! Besides, I'd like to do something there as well. Not just visiting a concert or something, but see something of the city! (if still there, the bus lines 100 and 200 e.g.)you'll make it, it's only a few hours by train.![]()
But I don't like the city..yeah at least Berlin has plenty of stuff to do and see
what is there not to like? But I don't like the city..
To big..
I don't know, but one tends not to like his/her capital city. At least, I don't like Amsterdam either! Even though I have family living there, and an ex of mine lives there. All with good memories, but I still don't like the city.
Brussels on the other hand... mweh, nothing wrong with it. I like the city. Though the knowledge of Dutch could be better sometimes.
Q: Who is a tourist then? Those who come from outside of Amsterdam? (which makes me a tourist as well) or those who aren't Dutch?I actually like amsterdam, I just don't like that more than 80% of the people in the inner city are tourists who stop right in front of you all the time![]()
I like Amstedam but I 'm afraid i'm one of the tourists AP mentioned...![]()

But my vision is, the Amsterdammer is arrogant, and thinks everyone has to know his(her) city, which I, for instance, don't. I know some places, but that's just because my ex used to live there. (Amsterdam Noord - Waterlandplein)

Die kwam zeker uut ut oost'n of noord'n.I'd say, anybody who isn't there on a regular basis.
I pretty much life in the suburbs of Amsterdam so I'm not a tourist.
But when you're dutch and you say stupid stuff like "it smells like weed everywhere" sounding genuinely surprised when you're in amsterdam, yeah than you're a tourist.
And yes I actually heard a dutch guy say that yesterday. at waterloo square.
Die kwam zeker uut ut oost'n of noord'n.![]()
Says more than enough.he sounded like he was from the Rotterdam region
