Why would you want that? I mean, you remove meat from a meat sandwich and you get a veg sandwich. Can't remove lettuce from a veg sandwich to get a meat sandwich. Why would anyone want a lack of options? :\

A very large portion of Indians are vegetarians so it makes sense here. I don't think there are people in Europe who would refuse to eat if they couldn't find vegetarian food.

over here if you take meat of the sandwich you just end up with bread...

What do you mean end up in the same position?

But it is scary! I never know what to say about myself... D:

well you don't have a job now, so if you don't get the job, you still don't have a job. but nothing changed :)

It's easy, just try to think about it before you go.
Just tell them about some things you like to do (they'll normally ask about that themselfs) then tell them about what you would like about the job.
and they might ask for some of your strong points and weak points.
so just try to come up with those before you go there so you don't have to think about them on the spot :)

I've done many interviews for people who wanted a job in this company, and most of the time if people do the above things it's good enough for me to atleast consider giving them a job :)

During my MBA studies, I took up an HR class about recruitments. Recruiters don't care (or even listen, sometimes) what you say in reply to "tell me something about yourself". As long as you can talk some random gibberish in a confident, coherent manner, you're good. They'll either pick some exceptional keywords from your talk for the next topic or move over to the next question on their script.

Well india has a long history with vegetarians and we don't so I guess there's a big difference :p
and of course the entire cuisines are different :p

Yes. I like Indian cuisine very much. I can only imagine what wonders they could have created if they weren't completely opposed to eating bacon and beef.

Edit : Also, I would imagine sandwich doesn't really fall under any cuisine, as such. It's a bit of a universal thing, isn't it? Like rice :S

yeah, so the key is to think about this question in advance so you know what yo say. and therefore look more confident :)

I absolutely love interviews. I'm 11/11 on my interview history till date. :D

In your case "same position" would imply "no job". :p

Wow. I wish I could be that confident. :p

Oh, right.

Yeah but I don't like failing. :(

I wouldn't say it's easy, but yeaah. I know I have to try to think questions that they might ask and also what I would answer.

I hate being in the center of attention in this kind of situations. I'm afraid I might shut down.
