Hello there!
I like the way that Wacken use the calendar to announce bands. Gives each morning a touch of anticipation and is different from other festivals.
Though like previous posters, the announcements over the last week or so have been a little disappointing.

Die Apokalyptischen Reiter and Korpiklaani however had me dancing round the office.

Dude, I LOVE the advent Calendar, it's a fun way of announcing bands as well as keeping Us fans excited at the same time.
I must admit that even though I seem a little disappointed I have discovered some awesome new music through the announcements. I always say "so much music ... so little time" and because of that, many of the bands announced I haven't heard before which has led Me to discover a band like Kellermensch for example. They are just so different and I truly appreciate that aspect from Rock/Metal bands. \m/ O \m/

They announced Dool who are touring with Harakiri for the Sky this summer. I hope HFTS gets confirmed too. Their 2016 album was killer and the upcoming album preview sounds good too...

3 more doors, even if they are all filled with strong bands, this lineup will still be weak as hell. And I don't think I'd even be able to sell my ticket this time, if I wanted to back out :p

Well there are still like 10 bands I'll be seeing. which for me is enough, since I always end up seeing load of other stuff anyway.
There's just nothing special among it.
