I guess it's just me then that thinks this year's Advent calendar is very depressing. So much punk, hardcore, alternative, atmospheric and rock stuff, not nearly enough metal.

Although I know I WILL love Wacken 2018, there are some truly amazing bands announced so far, I have to agree that the Advent Calendar has been a little disappointing up to this point. 2018 will be My first and quite possibly My only visit to Wacken so I still do have My hopes up for some awesome acts . There have been so many amazing "Metal" lineups in the past and I'm sure We will get to enjoy more Metal in 2018 ! \m/ O \m/I guess it's just me then that thinks this year's Advent calendar is very depressing. So much punk, hardcore, alternative, atmospheric and rock stuff, not nearly enough metal.

As Biff said in 2016, Wacken isn't about the bands that play there, it's about the people that go there. It's going to be amazing regardless but having great bands will only add to the whole thing.
