900!! I checked with expedia and it's 1048$ which is not bad but with a connection (I guess we don'T have a choice). I will wait 2-3 weeks because dates in august 2014 are not available yet.

Prices tend to fluctuate a lot I have noticed. Sometimes waiting will get you a better price than booking right away but it's all a crap shoot. We bought our tickets in September 2012 for last Wacken and by the time the trip came around we had already paid everything off so it wasn't as bad as we feared.

Yeah, you're right.. But, we had a bad experience (tickets for Madrid, Spain in 2009) by waiting because we thought the price could drop but 2 weeks after "our" decision, the ticket price was 300$ higher.. so 900$ more (because we are 3), that hurts :p.

Now, we don't take the chance. We booked when we are happy with the price :)

We also booked right away. I don't like to risk things happening. Especially right now with the way the economic outlook is going in the world. You never know when the airlines are going to decide that it costs too much to fly or whatever and raise the prices through the roof. If you see a good deal jump on it!

Tip for flights I've seen (but not tested): clear the cookies/cache before checking the price or use incognito. Apparently they raise the price the more you check it.

Tienen was unplanned because it was sunday and we missed the bus to Hoegaarden (every 2h...). So, I had to go grab a drink while wating for the next bus.

Next year... We still wondering where to go... We started to check the plane ticket (roundtrip) and every destination east of Netherlands the price is 1300$+ with a connection flight... (My price range is around 1000$ (x3)). Germany was an option since I will have to finish with Wacken. We don't know yet. We would love to go to scandinavian country but again, out of price plane ticket with connections...

Initially, I wanted to visit all Abbey in Belgium. But this is exhausting since we have to go all over the country.

 ... still undecided...

Come to Finland, hehe! :D
