Then of course when she arrives, it'll take ages before they even let anyone off the plane, plus everyone has to fill in a landing card and you have to declare a whole range of stuff. Getting (back) into Australia is a bit painful Every year I have to declare "soil" which includes muddy shoes and equipment Up until last year you had to declare ALL food, but now it's only stuff that could harbour diseases etc.

Australian flora/fauna is weird. Everything is trying to kill you, but they're so easily killed The annoying thing is, whenever I declare soil, the customs officers take a look at it and go "yeah that's alright"
