It's not all about agriculture There's the rides, the shitty junk food, the show bags, the totally awesome produce that you can buy (although most of it is there to be judged and viewed), the animals (same deal as the produce, but if I recall correct, there's also the petting zoo with the five day-old kids etc.), the dancing, the fireworks...I think that covers it

While I tend to eat ALL the things I was actually super surprised at how little I felt like eating on our way back to Brussels Airport last year. From midnight to midnight, I ate hardly anything compared to what I would normally eat (or at least, from midnight to 4pm, when I had my first "square" meal of the day).

If there's anything I've ever learnt from petting zoos, it's that goats are good for cuddles and making more goats. Goat milk and meat aren't really that popular (not that I know of, anyway).
