I really hate the fact that whenever I'm sick, my boss wants my to go to a doctor... Stupid policies.

Same here in Germany exept the first 3 days..

My first job (24hr roster, multinational corporate losers) I had to go to the doctor if I missed one shift. It cost the same or more to see a doctor than I was paid to work the shift. My job now - it's three days or more, then we have to see a doctor.

Wow that's dumb! Does it still cost to go see a doctor? Here it costs nothing because we usually go to the workplace doctor or whatever

Depends on who you see. Not too many doctors bulk bill anymore. I can't remember how big a gap I had to pay, but I was on less than $8/hour and shifts were usually around 4 hours long.

How much is it there?

Ugh. :( 15 is a bit too cold for summer but 30 is bit too much for me...

Actually, I don't know how much we had here, I was in Brande-Hörnerkirchen, where it was hot! (the 30°)
Later it started raining, and that was nice! Not too hard, just a little rain, to refresh oneself. But I heard later that there were big thunderstorms in our area. (Neumünster especially)
