There's a difference between drinking a lot and having a bad drinking culture. It was explained (and I observed) in Germany that the culture of drinking is more of a "hooray! Beer!". Australia on the other hand, "yay! It's Friday! Fuck my life/Let's get pissed!" When people ask me at home "where is your beer?", my reply is generally "I'm driving home". When asked the same question in Germany it's "...um, I finished it..."

Well I would be away for probably one or two days, max three and the doctor will probably give me two or three days.
