The actual operation is pretty wierd...

Can see sort of OK, a bit blurry, even now.
Hurts still, should be pretty OK by tomorrow and close to perfect come Monday.

Have had glasses for some 25 years, pretty strange to imagine not needed them any more.

Still one more week with careful hygiene and stuff, antibiotic eye drops etc etc, but next Saturday should be rocking it

I still find it creapy!

yeah I can imagine the operation is weird, don't they like flip over your cornea before the actual laser stuff happens?

yeah, part of it, they cut a lid out of it and flip it, then laser away part of what is rest of the cornea.

Smells like burning hair when they do it, haha

Eeew, I did not know that, that sounds nasty!

I still would like to have my eyes lasered though, but it is so expensive. I will have to save up quite a while for that.

About 4k euro

But I got to pay before taxes on my salary, and got a bit of a discoutn via work, so end up paying about half if couting taxed money, so that's pretty sweet.

I actually thought that it was laser and done, no more pain or stuff. But hey, still, when I get rich... And done with tattoo's I might have my eyes lasered.

Had the first check up today, all is fine!

PRetty much was painful first day.
A bit sore second day.
Mainly gets dry after that.

Still can't get things 100% sharp, should withing a few weeks or up to three months. Tests today showed they've done a good job, now only healing and getting used to it.

Good luck with your eyes Gnoff. Me dad had it done a couple of years ago. Still really happy with the result, Altho he does need reading glasses now
