Had the first check up today, all is fine!

PRetty much was painful first day.
A bit sore second day.
Mainly gets dry after that.

Still can't get things 100% sharp, should withing a few weeks or up to three months. Tests today showed they've done a good job, now only healing and getting used to it.

Good luck with your eyes Gnoff. Me dad had it done a couple of years ago. Still really happy with the result, Altho he does need reading glasses now

I'll be needing reading glasses when I get old(er) too, but it's a big difference between needeing them to read and needing them to live

oh yes, not too bad, it should be getting better week by week too as the sweeling lies down and my brain reconnects the wires to the synapses and stuff

I think everybody would need that. It is a natural reaction wanting to turn away your head or close your eyes.

Kinda stupid that insurances do not pay for it anymore (and neither do taxes) because I get 220 eu every 2 years for glasses, so the investment will be pay back easily before I reach the age where I might need reading glasses

it is the same with ear plugs (for protecting your ears from loud noises) I get 250 eu per 2 years if I ever need hearing aids (hihi it says aids) but they do not pay for custom made in-ear ear plugs. which are about 100-150 eu and last 5-10 years
