My question to the Orga-Team (if the thread is still active) :
Is the absence of Death Metal on the 3 main stages a deliberate choice ?
(This is the first time over the past 7 or more years that this happens.)
Or is it just a lack of opportunities ?

The reason is simply that this years Wacken is a bit more Heavy-Metal-Focused.

I know that they are not pure Death Metal but Amon Amarth, In Flames and Napalm Death are playing on the main stages.

is there any news about this year's soccer cup? all I found was this which seems out of date [as it's 2008]

Napalm Death is the closest thing to Death Metal, indeed

So here we go:

The Soccer-Cup well be happening again this year! The soccer-days are on wednesday and on thursday. The field will be located at the newest event-ground at the medieval-market fornent to the festival-prespot! The soccer-ground can be used for privat-games also on the other days of the festival.

I had one other question:

It's alredy known that the running order is still going to change a lot.
But will the orga make report of changes in the Running Order... or should i just look everyday at the Running Order to see if there were made any changes ?

well, I guess if the change will concern one of the bigger bands, it will be announced, but for the little changes you have to look out for yourself.
