It took sometime but this will be my first time to Wacken! I am from Canada and have been to many north American shows and festivals but nothing like this! As an added bonus I am flying my little brother over with me for his birthday which falls on the Saturday of the festival. We were always close but it wasn't until I took him to see maiden the first time that we really clicked as brothers. I have since taken him to see them 2 more times and this is the trip to mecca as it were. I am more of an older power metal fan so very excited about Saxon and Hammerfall! I have been a fan of iced earth for as long as I can remember and Stu Block is Canadian so I am looking forward to waving the maple leaf. Neither of us are shy so if you see a couple of big Canadian brothers looking like they could die happy come on over and we will get a beer! -Cheers-
Welcome!
Feel free to pop by in the 50k thread and post whatever you like (according to board rules obviously, although posting for the purpose of increasing your post-count isn't totally discouraged ) You may also want to join us at the board meeting in Wacken on the Thursday afternoon. If you're keen, your name will be added to the list

that's sounds interesting? what exactly is the business of the board? Let me know and I will in turn let you know but if there is some way I can help then why the hell not right
There's nothing formal about any of this On the day we have a big get-together in the beer garden (the one facing the main stages) and have real-life conversations with beer, photos, and if it's anything like last year there might also be cake
sorry! LOL I work in business management so when I heard board meeting my brain started turning. I like the kind of board meetings you are suggesting though (less paperwork ) yeah for sure Me=Bryan And my brother Brad we will be there for beer regardless I would think? SO STOKED

You're funny!
Anyway, where are you from?
I live in northern Ontario which is a province of Canada and my brother lives in Prince George Brittish Columbia (Another province) We are both from B.C. though and proud of it! The rest of Canada calls Brittish Columbians hippies and it is sort of true I guess but we don't care. My motto in life is "all work and no play can F#@K right off" LOL! and if we get called hippies for that lifestyle then so be it I am looking forward to shaking your hand and trading war stories -CHEERS-
you don't have to explain provinces in canada I think most of us know them
But yeah I'm some sort of metal hippie myself so that's fine by me
