well there used to be a forum camp, where you needed to sign up in advance, but not sure if that's still around. since I haven't been at wacken for 2 years.
I always camp with my friends though. and of course there is a forum meeting!

And pretty much every time, the last few times I was there, some forum people that arrived later than me camped with me anyway.

I'm happy to camp on my own but I'd hope to be able to meet up with some folk for a wee beer at some point. That, or I'll end up drunk and passed out in my tent for 3 days ha ha

I just found this topic, so let's introduce myself a little bit. I'm a female from Finland and I'm 19 years old. I'm a big fan of Wacken and I'm finally planning to go there the next year, which is amazing, since it's my dream. Yesterday I got a Wacken T-shirt, i was so happy. I don't have any special favorite bands, but i really like Sabaton and Children Of Bodom, but I listen to many metal bands and I also know a lot about them. I like beer and vodka!
