hmm a friend is trying to point me out that the "big" act will be after forever...
but I don't think so myself...

Well, it could be, they have just announced the disbandment and they are with Nuclear Blast, they have a fair shot. Although they are not a Top Act either.

Darkthrone
Emperor
Voivod
Van Halen
Running Wild
Accept
Led Zeppelin
Pretty Maids
After Forever

they are getting old and stuff... and someday they will probably stop... :p

There are many reasons why it wont be Maiden :D:D:D
- Iron Maiden is not going to stop soon. Don't worry.
- They want to do a tour like the one 1980-1989 of last year, but with the 90's. And they have lots of other projects.
- If you compare them with Deep Purple, Van Halen,... they are relatively young.
- They just did their most succesful tour in their history. And one of the longest, they need a break, I don't think they will tour this summer.
- When Iron Maiden decides to do a last show, it will be massive, and for sure, it will be in the UK.

Plus they're writing a new album...

I have very strong doubts it'd be Iron Maiden. It doesn't even make sense.

One they headlined last year, and two I really don't think they're going anywhere anytime soon.

What happened exactly between Holger and Satyr????

Not sure really. I think others have given the answer before, but I'm not really a Satyricon fan so didn't really pay attention.

Yes but Fenriz refuse to play alive.. i don't know why

Personally, I think its quite respectable that he doesn't. He's said before that Darkthrone is a hobby that he loves and that he doesn't want to make his job, that he could be a "rich bitch" if he decided to play live but it's not what he wants to do with Darkthrone nor what he wants to be.

I Like Running Wild, but i think is not enough big to be the Top Act in the 20th anniversary...IMO

What's a big enough top act? AC/DC? Van Halen? Somebody spare me the horror:rolleyes: Those bands have nothing to do with Wacken's history as a fest. Running Wild would be perfect, and when you look at the kind of bands that have been top acts in the past especially since Running Wild has actually been a "top act" in the past (in 2003 for example) then it makes sense. Look back through Wacken history. To me Running Wild would actually fit in quite well as a top band for the anniversary.

Of those bands, i think (no means that i want it) the friday's announcement could be between Van Halen, Accept or Running Wild. But Accept with more chance.
2006 Hansi Kursch of Blind Guardian was a special appearance in meet and greet, and B.G. had a Top Act Slot next year.

2008 Doro was a special appearance in meet and greet, and her is one of the top acts this year with Warlock

Also Udo was a special appearance with Lordi last year, perhaps could be the top act with Accept.

I like Accept, i've never seen before, but i've seen twice Udo here in Mexico, and almost half of his show are Accept's songs. Is a good show, very powerful and clean sound
