Introduction/Rant
Hi! I'm a newbie here...and a friend of LooseCannon.
Ok, I am going to probably ruffle a few feathers here, but quite frankly, I don't care.
I'm middle-class, but NOT a soccer mom. I'm a goth. I have 2 kids and a pain in the ass spouse. I've got a mortgage, a cat, a computer...yes, this makes me a dangerous person...NOT.
Anyway, as for all the bullshit over "tittygate", my kids were in bed by the time the halfshow came on. It was just a flash, it wasn't like the cameras got a glimpse of free porn and homed in on it.....sheesh...the FCC is doing it's damnedest to regulate what we see and hear. I have a friend in Canada telling me how sorry he is for me because of all the bullshit regulations regarding obscenities that lace our lyrics and edits our television programs. I don't watch much television as a rule, but yes, I do have a few shows that I enjoy. I think if the government had its way, alot of shows would be removed from the schedule. Why don't they get rid of the ones that have absolutely no plot and are made up to just give actors a job? Hell, I live with a censor...aka my spouse...you will also probably see me referring to him as the warden. He tries to tell me what I can and can't listen to, even when I'm not around the kids, but you can bet, when he's out of earshot, I'm cranking non-edited versions of songs that I KNOW he would bitch about. He's had a hard time accepting that I have a very different taste in music, clothing and the company I choose to keep than what he would have in mind, but oh well...that's his problem, not mine.
I plan on doing my part to make sure the dead weight in government takes notice that there are alot of us out here that are tired of their bullshit and quoting of facts and figures that is jumbled up with legaleze...what the fuck happened to just tellin' it like it is? If you are on this forum, and are a registered voter in the U.S. , but haven't bothered voting in the past because you thought your vote didn't count, FOR FUCKS' SAKE GET UP OFF YOUR LAZY ARSE AND VOTE, because your vote DOES count, dammit!!!
If anyone calls me a soccer mom, I'll pull out my corset-laced bitch boots and walk all over that person....

well, it's like this Judas, he didn't used to have a stick jammed so far up his ass, but as he has gotten older, he's turning into his parents....as for me, i'm finding the older i get, the more that the pieces i've been missing out of my life that are falling into place. i guess that comes with being from a broken home and having to grow up too fast. *shrug*
