In Istanbul, the best places that plays metal is Karavan(pub at Taksim)
Kemanci Rock Bar (Besiktas)
Orta Kahve(Cafe(they have realy good nargile!!!(a special turkish tobaco pipe)))
there are many others but i go only to these when go ist.
In ankara Keyif and Gölge(pubs at Sakarya play mostly trash and late at night it turns to black and death. And you can find me there

Limon (at sakaya too and plays punk and hardcore)
SaklýKent Concert Hall(everynight live performances)
Onaon cafe(has a music box with a large playlist of all kinds of rock and mostly we metalheads gather there.)
Orta Dunya cafe(plays power and heavy)

Actually I was already talking to a lot of guys from Turkey, and they promised me to send me some info, but then never came back to me. So its great to have some addresses in Ankara & Istanbul finally
Have head that Istanbul is a really cool city - guess I should visit it and Ankara as well when I ever come to Turkey again!

There are 2 Kemancý's in istanbul they both plays rock and metal...
but Kemancý Kültür Merkezi is much more expensive and play mostly old slow song...
My father prefers it...
