Hey Britta
dont know if this is of any use on the guide ...but in my town there is now a pub/club that has metal night on most saturdays
usually a live band or two (only local bands) and then a Rock D.J untill 2am

The Harrogate Arms, Crag Lane, Harrogate , North Yorkshire. Tel: 01423 502434

http://www.cratermusic.com/page/batesmotel.html this link has a few bands that have played there ...but like i say they are only local bands so i dunno if it is of interest for your guide

i think thats the biggest band they have ever had though

Harrogate sucks :(

but at least we Have Rio's In Bradford ...was there last night watching Anathema ...and they were excellent ..could have played a few more faster songs but overall it was a great gig

Ah, I see...
I guess that it's because Stockholm has so much to offer :D

No, really, don't know why that is.
Sure, a lot of bands are from Gothenburg, but I still feel that Sweden in general has a small metal scene. Not when it comes to bands, then we have plenty, but when it comes to shows. This fall has been great, but usually the bands seldom play at home.
