I think it's only to be expected that citizens of such nations would express some resentment toward their former colonies.

Not that I've gotten any static from any of our Brit friends here on the forum.

:D

It's an endless story :(
But I've got to say that all the french ppl don't think that Quebec citizens are primitive. It's just a fuckin'parisian attitude.
In France, there is the same "bad" feeling between Paris and the rest of the country. They consider us like the third world, or like indian reserves !!
... Anyway, each time I go to Paris for the job or for a show, I always renew my caccines before !!!!!! Nobody knows what it could happen there !! :D :D :D :D :D

It seems like most American tourists almost always go to Paris, rarely to anywhere else in the country, and they go at the height of the summer. So when they get bad attitudes from the Parisians (and in some cases, they deserve it...), they come home and all I hear is "Oh, the French are so snotty and arrogant, they're all assholes."

Likewise, I'd hate to think that some Europeans are basing their whole impression of the US on New Yorkers. :D

ps: check out their new album on the 15th of september (eternal black dawn)

Oh killer, you saw Omen? Always liked that band. Last album was kinda Pantera-ish, but I hope the new one sounds good.

:D:D

Actually, part from seeing most of Ohio, I also spent some time in California, which was one hell of a lot better than bleedy Ohio, and saw the airports in NYC, Chicago and someplce in Kentucky :D

I lived in between Farmersville and Germantown for 8 months, how much fun do you think I had?
Oh yeah, wasn't allowed to drive a car either, even though I ahd a license...

What I can say is that I 've never based my impression on the US on G.W.Bush ! :D
As long as you 'll send us bands like Slayer or Queensryche (my two favorite bands) my impressions will be excellent !!!
:D :D :D :D :D

A quick scan of my map reveals you were in a prime location to have exactly ZERO fun at all. I mean...Dayton? I am truly sorry. :)

Glad you survived though...where were you in Cali? Though I think just about anywhere there would be better than that corner of Ohio.
