The one from Mexico I guess?

Can you get Indio?
I like that one very much.

A man with good taste.:D
Indio Beer, bottled by the same company that make Dos Equis and Tecate. They don't import Indio in large quantities to the U.S anymore, but they have a brewery in Tecate Mexico which is just on the other side of the border in Mexico. I go there all the time. I'll probably go again in a month from now. I'll make sure to pick up a few cartons while I'm down there. I will keep you informed.

No WOA for me this year.

Trading Indio for Westy 12 would be expensive in the beer world :D

It was worth a shot. I'm a bonafied hustler.
I guess you're right, a Westy 12 for an Indio is deffinately a rough trade, but I gotta keep trying. Maybe 2 cartons of Indio for 1 Westy 12.
Now I feel like having a tall frothy glass of beer. I'll wait till I get off work.;)

well, I can get my hands on a westy 12 in Copenhagen, Denmark, for about 95 DKK = 121 SEK = 13€

But I would also have to get my ass to Copenhagen :D

It's closer than what I would have to travel. I have to travel across the the world to try it. And I gladly would. I could have it shipped, but after all the shaking and handling from the shipping, it probably wont taste the same. I'll wait till I arrive in Europe to try it. Tell me, does it taste as good as I think it does?

well, I don't think so.

But a huge part of the beer world do not seem to agree with me.

I find it highly overrated.

Yeah, that's what I figured. People usaully overate stuff like that, never the less, I have to try it, make up my own opinion. I don't know why, but I believe you. Do you think Chimay Blue compares to it?

You should live in Belgium. Only Westvleteren is still difficult to get, all the other trappists as easy as possible.

Man, I did a good thing, moving here back in 2004!

I think the Blue Chimay us way better.

Two beers better than Westy 12 that I find in the sort of same class are:

Rochefort 10
and
St Bernardus Abt 12

Thank you for the words of wisdom. I think the reason people give so much credit to Westy is because of how much of a headache it is to find it, not so much the flavor.
