Drinking a Stella Artois at the moment, 33 cl bottle at 5.2%.

And no, I'm not crazy, I'm drinking my way through a special list of beers and comparing them to "how it's supposed to be" to train for the beer judge education next week end.

It is that you're saying you're not crazy, otherwhise I wouldn't have believed you at all! 'Cause the question I was about to ask was:"Why of all Belgian beers in Belgium (and the world) are you drinking STELLA?????"

But the reason is fair enough for me.
Though I prefer Jupiler!

Today: Hommelbier, Brewery Van Eecke, Watou (Belgium)
Alc. 7.5% VOL.

A beer which is full of "hop" (if anyone knows the English translation of it....)
It has an amber colour, and has a very bitter taste. Although the taste after was not really special.

Hommel is the Poperinge dialect word for hop. That's why it's called Hommelbier.

Yesterday I bought a 50 cl bottle of "GoldBohemia Beer 3.5" from Nymburk Brewery. The alcohol leve was "Min 2.8%".

It was probably the worst beer, ever!

It must be damaged by UV-light or something, or very oxidiced.

Damn it smell and tasted WRONG.

I poured it all out after just two sips...
