Tonight I'm drinking what might be the strongest beer in the world.

The Samuel Adams Triple Bock at 18% does not even taste like beer, it's more like port wine.

It's a 250 ml bottle that I paid more than 6 € for

But it's nice to have tried it, seems it's sold out also, probably won't bring it back in either...

Tried a "Prize old ale" from George Gale & Co LTD tonight, not much like a beer, one more beverage that taste more like port wine.

Dogfish Head Immort'Ale. Really more of a barley wine than anything, I think it's about 14-15%

gnoff: 18% is not the strongest. Dogfish Head (a small brewery out on the Delaware shore) makes one called "Worldwide Stout" which is 25 or 26% (really!). That's why I love them...they do things with beer that aren't supposed to be done.

Right now I'm trying a "Thomas Hardy's Ale" for the first time.

A bottle from 2004, numer 00380.

11.7% vol

Just about no carbon dioxide left, but the taste is oh so great!
Since they say this beer can mature on bottle for up to 25 years, I have this stupid idea of bying a case of 24 and drinking one each year.

Never heard of that beer!!

Where did you find it?

Delirium Tremels is 8.5% Vol. alcohol

It's a fruit Lambic, Timmermans has at least a peche and a kriek also.

I bought it via the Swedish store where you can buy alcohol, the one with the monopoly on sales ;)
Good thing is they have a HUGE amount of beer from all over the world :)
