Golden? Don't you mean "Gulden Zegel" or "Gouden Zegel"?
Golden is no Dutch, that's why.

But honestly, I've never heard of Gulden/Gouden Zegel before. Where is it from?

hahahahha no, falcon is not the best, I only drink it when I´m in sweden, my fav is Pott´s Landbier from the good old Münsterland in Germany \m/-_-\m/

I´m testing the beer from that company and once or twice a year they send me a box of beer for free and then I fill out a form and send it back hahahha

Try some beers from "Nils Oscar" next time you're in Sweden, they're several times better than Falcon

So are you bringing Pott's LAndbier to Wacken?

Which leads me to a quick question: how much beer can I bring into Germany without getting nabbed by customs? If there's a limit, that is. I wish to bring some delicacies to share around at the festival.

Yes you can bring your own beer into the camping area, but its not allowed inside the stage area

thanks...so I will stock up not too much because I've heard that beer prices in strage area (or whatever it is called) are quite expensive around 5-6 €!

I think its about 4 euros a beer for a standard size one and then 3 euros if you take the cup back.


For the bigger steiner ones they are about 10 euros but again if you take the thing back your next one will be about 6 i think.

I was never able to hold a glass cup of beer...damn things are so fragile! Only if I could find a stable place to sit

The security can't control if it's your beer or not. So... bring/buy a Wacken cup, and refill it with your own beer. Entrence is allowed, as it is the Wacken cup that counts!
