Ah, okay. I've been looking at places a bit further away, as I don't want the high prices and street noise that come with being right by the station. Also, I appreciate walking after 7 hrs in a plane!
I'm looking at a place on Nieuwe Keizersgracht, Hotel Hermitage. Gets good reviews, and breakfast is included
Sure, that sounds like a good plan, if we can do that! The Edeka is in Itzehoe, correct? Not sure if I would take a taxi there however, unless I meet with others on the way. The bus is probably cheaper.
I just chose it because I'll be lugging my bag, tent etc with me...More convenient when I leave, lol. Another thing is that my cousin wants to check out other shit around the country and being by a train station makes it easier not to get lost. I'm a putz that way.
What are you going to see?
He wants to see some underground tunnels that were used in the war or some shit...He gave me a list of all the things he wants to see in the countries we're going to. Should only be a day trip to those tunnels though...I want the 1st and 2nd to be in Amsterdam.
Everything in Holland is only a day trip
yeah that's true.
Except the very northern area. That's more than 5h by train. (you can't make it back)
wait... there is a northern area?
Yep. It's above the Maas, the Rhine and the Waal..
It's called "HOLLAND" and is the worst part of the Netherlands.
Best you stay south of it. Best is Best btw.
that can't be right, everything below those rivers is belgium already, everything above is indeed holland.
You are lieing!
On a side note: Brabant is actually doing better than the "Randstad". So.....
What's better now ay!?
yeah but only because they did worse in the period before
