Anyone going to Wacken by way of Amsterdam?

Is anyone here planning to travel to Wacken via Amsterdam? I can't find a direct flight (for a reasonable price) from Toronto to Hamburg. So instead, I think I'll arrive in Amsterdam on August 2nd or 3rd, stay overnight, then take a train to Hamburg. Maybe I'll stay overnight in Hamburg one night (say, the 3rd) so I can visit the metal bars :p

If anyone is planning to be in Amsterdam, let me know! We could maybe go for a drink or travel together the following day :)

I live just outside amsterdam, but by that time I'm already at wacken.
else I would definately have liked to travel together.

Sounds like we're travelling on different days, though.
Now I'm thinking that maybe I should go one day earlier. However, this would mean asking for 1 more day holiday from work. I haven't booked my flights yet, so it's possible. Then I could leave Toronto on the 1st, arrive in Amsterdam on the 2nd, and maybe get to Hamburg earlier, too.
Hmmm...

But I think I'll be buying a Eurail pass, because with a couple of train trips it's a much better deal (3 countries, 5 days of travel.) And I'm planning to stay in NL until the 21st, so because I know people / have family in Hoorn, Enkhuizen, Dronten, Amsterdam, Utrecht, Delft, Arnhem and Eindhoven... that's a lot of train travel opportunities ;)

Dat is echt leuk van je om te aanbieden! Maar kom je niet uit België? Dat is erg ver om te rijden!
