Morning everyone!
We get paid for Christmas, Boxing day and NYD but are being 'locked out' for 3 additional days without pay. At least I have some vacation pay that I can take but some people are really pissed because they didn't plan to be off. I can completely understand their frustration but as I keep telling people..we work on contract, you can't be 100% of ANYTHING so make sure you plan for this type of shit.
What I didn't plan for is my car to be fucking up again, I have to have it towed to the mechanic and pray that it won't cost me another 2k to fix it this time. Though I have a sneaky feeling it will because it sounds like either the starter or the alternator (neither are cheap fixes) My car is such a piece of shit lemon.. Last year I had to replace the transmission..this car has less than 70k on it!

After my mother has finished taking over the kitchen for dinner, I still have to make my lunches for the week and find time before I see everyone to decorate the biscuits and so on
Don't feel bad, it was my last weekend to do any baking before Christmas and I failed it also. The only thing I managed to do was get my step-son's presents wrapped and game
