It's that public transportation sucks in the American continent but otherwise I'd get rid of the car.

Believe me it's going to be very tempting if I have to pay another big bill. I can manage on the bus, it's not as good as over there, but it is do-able with some preparation. More annoying is when I have to go and do the shopping because the store is too far to walk if I have to carry things back but I suppose we can work that out too if needed.

Our other car is on it's last legs too but at least that one has not cost us for major repairs yet *crossing fingers*

I am not that lucky. I literally JUST got caught up from my transmission expense.. Actually no, that's a lie.. I am still not back up to what I was at before I had to spend that. It sucks because I need to save money for WoA :(

:( still gonna keep my fingers crossed for you though...

A bike? But same problem,it's possible if you're used to it, like the dutch are. If not, you'll break your neck.

Riding a bike here is not like there. We do not have any 'safe' bike lanes on the roadways. If you ride on the street you are taking your life in your hands. People here do not look out for bikes. We have some small amount of biking paths but they do not cover as much area as they would need to in order to make biking a viable option for me.

I've seen it in Toronto when I was there.

On another note I think I might have finally gotten my issue with the Metal Train figured out. After MONTHS of emailing the guy I may finally be getting close to having my tickets :D
