I wish it was xmas, than at least I wouldn't have to be at work

I'm working one day next week Ideally I'd like to have Christmas Eve right through to New Year's Day off but there's all sorts of end-of-year stuff to take care of. Additionally I wouldn't know what to do with myself at home I'm a real weirdo these days.

Not too bad I guess. Hectic day and I ended up missing a birthday dinner. At least I got to attend his surprise party we threw for him last week.

Flights are nearly done. For some reason my London to Hamburg flight wasn't booked because my parents "didn't know what my plans were" but everything else is done.

I just want 31st of december and new years day off (the last one is a national day of course) the rest I don't really care, I'm usually home alone, and everybody is doing stuff with their family. so if I take the days of there isn't much to do for me.

Most years I get NYE off and work the day after Boxing Day instead. I can't do it this year because of the days where the public holidays fall, the office will be closed on Thursday anyway and there's plenty to do on NYE
