Like I said, designed to cut fat and hopefully look like she-hulk in several weeks :p I'm sure he would have put in more carbs in the diet if my day job involved more moving around than sitting at a computer for the majority of the day.

well if you wanna be a shehulk you better do lots of heavy training, just diet won't help haha.

Yeah that's true, but a change in diet will certainly help a lot. I have this horribly bad habit of binge eating throughout the weekend (for no reason other than "yay it's the weekend") and undoing every bit of hard work I did during the week, so I've practically lost nothing overall since my last trip. I've definitely gotten way stronger though which is nice, but yeah I got stuck/bored doing the same machines all the time.

I'm having troubles controlling myself in the weekend as well :p
and yeah, a good diet helps a lot.
I've actually gained 5 pound since I started to work out, but that's all muscle.
no idea about loosing fat though.

About to embark on a new diet plan drafted by one of the trainers at the gym. It looks a little bit scary - would someone please figuratively hold my hand for me? :o

Please tell me this trainer is a registered dietitian? or at least that they took into consideration your height, weight, sex, age and activity level when they figured it out... Sorry, I have seen too many people put on huge deficits with a million restrictions for no reason and with no training on the subject either.

There are two pie charts - one says carbs20%/fat31%/protein49%, the other says carbs25%/fat16%/protein59% and I can't remember what they were for exactly.

Needless to say it's not a diet I'd like to follow for too long. Just thinking about all that chicken and eggs is giving me a headache :o

No way in hell you need that much protein. A good guideline if you are trying to conserve your muscle mass is 1g / lb of lean body mass. I'm on 45% Carb/ 30% Protein/25% Fat. I've also lost 55 lbs in 8 months doing this without some silly diet that tells me not to eat a certain type of food. Sounds like they have you on some modified version of the Atkins diet which is not healthy or sustainable.
