The way he explained it was, the diet is designed so that my body uses the fat I have stored without losing muscle. The diagram is tiny and a bit hard to decipher, but it looks like about half will be from protein, and the rest from carbohydrates/fats in semi-equal amounts.

And if I recall correctly, the goal is to lose 5kg of fat and increase my lean mass by a little bit before I go on holidays, then say a big "fuck you" to the diet, party hard and get fat in 5 weeks, then work hard again to hide the evidence of my hard partying :ugly:

half of protein would be way to much, my intake is 20-30%.
but don't forget, fat has way more calories. so it probably isn't half :)

There are two pie charts - one says carbs20%/fat31%/protein49%, the other says carbs25%/fat16%/protein59% and I can't remember what they were for exactly.

Needless to say it's not a diet I'd like to follow for too long. Just thinking about all that chicken and eggs is giving me a headache :o

so what I mean is, 100 grams of protein and lets say 20 grams of carbs + 80 grams of fat.
this wouldn't be half of the intake because:
100 grams op protein = 100 * 4 = 400
20 grams of carbs = 20 * 4 = 80
80 grams of fat = 80 * 9 = 740

400 out of 1220 isn't 50% but 30%

(though this example would be way to much fat :p )
