Well that's pretty much to show how they fail at translating. The thing is most pokémon have different names as well so they just come up with entire new/different jokes that have nothing to do with the original and are usually unfunny.

I think I still have a pretty decent save game in Ruby. Wouldn't mind playing Emerald myself though, don't think I even own it.

Emerald's a decent step up from R/S. More to do, more entertaining storyline overall. Might be worth a buy, or at least a download.

Sapphire was my main one, I only gave Ruby a runthrough or two. I had all the main games, including most of the N64 and Gamecube ones at some point. I know I never had that "Hey You Pikachu" one or whatever, and I think some other Pikachu Gamecube game. But the others, I think I had.

In the past couple months though, I decided I really wanted to "catch 'em all". I got all 151 in Blue, all 250 in Silver (can't get that Celebi glitch to work yet ) and I might decide to try to extend that to 386.

I'm not sure how many different ones I have left, I've lost some games over time. But I know I've transferred all the legendary and at least most of the normal ones from firered etc.. to Pearl and the same with Gold/Silver and Sapphire/Ruby. So I guess I need to play Emerald for that Rayquaza and I'd have a pretty decent collection on Pearl.

I did it ages ago, but I think I did it by playing Sapphire in one game boy advance and silver/gold in the other, then from Sapphire you can trade any pokemon with the DS very easily, as you can plug Gameboy games straight into it and have a minigame which allows you to transfer.
