Not at all. Never said I did, I just think that criticizing stuff without ever trying it and going "haha you like pokemon how old are you?" when you've never played pokemon is pretty immature.

Actually a lot of people I know started playing the games around ages 18-20 or even older, just because every person with any knowledge of RPG games will tell you they are amazing.

But your right, I played the games when I was young and actually enjoyed the anime back then.

I wouldn't know. I'm not really much of a gamer anymore... I played back as a kid, but Pokemon is really the only one I still play with any regularity.

Well in Japanese there are a lot of jokes involved in the series and it's mostly boiling down into a comedy, though that's near impossible to translate.

But the anime is aimed more at kids, so it's no surprise if your not into that.

Well it's mostly the team-rocket parts that aren't very interesting when translated, these are mostly just word-jokes and often involving names of the pokémon, which would make no sense when translated.

Let's not discuss the meaning of the word sarcasm then. Anyway, it's good to hear you don't mind what others do, though I don't really see why this should involve me leaving the forum.
