Yeah me too. I've found that most of the bands have MySpace pages now and most have samples playing there. And that has helped me find out which bands to avoid as well as some to check out. Of course I am referring to the bands that I was not familiar with.

With no stopovers it will be about 36 hours depending on the length of the shorter stops. 6 hours in China was the pits last year.

Communic are great. I do feel they are very similar to Nevermore though... not that that is a bad thing. I love Nevermore.

Speaking of Myspace, I am checking out samples at Alestorm's MySpace page. Their music sounds sort of like Running Wild to me.

The quotes for airfares has me stopping over in LA this year. I guess I go up and then across to Germany where you would just need to go across. Does not seem like too much extra but it takes an extra 6-9 hours from memory

It's very cool to discover new bands (new to the listener that is) at Wacken. However I hope for more bands that I personally like and am familiar with will be added at this point. Not that the promoters are concerned with my personal choices. Just a wish.
