The kids here aren't even emo kids. They're like, obsessed with Cradle of Filth and Cannibal Corpse and think they're the only metal bands and call those who don't like those two bands posers and go out of their way to cause trouble.

Wow! The kids here don't even know who Cannibal Corpse or COF are. I do like Cannibal Corpse and earlier COF. Some people like to call anyone who is not into (and only into) the so called most "Brutal" metal bands posers. Narrow minded fucks!

Yeah that's about the scope of the "Metal" kids here, the hot Topic bands. I don't think that's too bad if they get a start there and then venture out to other bands and sub-genres. My nephew started out with shit like Korn but soon discovered better real metal bands and his scope really broadened. Now he can;'t stand that Nu-Metal shit! Good boy!

well many of those types of guys are trend hoppers, they'll likely be into something entirely different in a year. Many are just into the image, not as much the music itself.
