Yea, and did you ever notice that when one high-priced item breaks others do too? At the same time my laptop broke my mp3 player broke and my tv died.

dunno, maybe you just have bad luck
I just have horrible luck with music players of any kind... within the past 5yrs or so I've gone through 2 CD players, 3 MP3 players, plus with the MP3 player I have now [a Zune] I had to get it replaced twice
and I swear I take good care of my stuff too...

The mp3 players, I've only lost one due to malfunctions, but I've been through three because I just have too much music.

yea that's what happened with the last two MP3 players, but they ended up breaking afterwards
the one I have atm is a 120GB though... should last me awhile, I hope
well I just have stuff break a lot I guess, sooo the timing of it isn't too special

I'm currently on a 4G. I need something bigger but I hate MP3 players that make me have to use another program other than WMP. I won't EVER get an Ipod because Itunes likes to delete my music on me all the time for some reason.

schweet, I'm anti-iPod as well
had one once, it sucked, that was the end of that...
but yea, I'd rather just have files in .wma or .mp3 rather than iTunes where they have their own little way...

nah definately not... I mean it's like unnecessarily expensive, and annoyingly popular... like people will call MP3 players iPods, and I'm like... um hello, not all MP3 players are iPods... good thing too because they suck...

It's annoying really. I was one of a minority in high school who didn't have an Ipod, yet all the others did. I don't care about brand name, give me something that works. I've been using a $25 4g mp3 player for about two years now.

hehe very nice...
I've just gotten MP3 players as gifts so far throughout various Christmases and birthdays... never cared about the brand really. it was just until recently that I wanted to try a Zune as a decent brand since the others screwed up and I wanted something with enough memory to last me awhile...
told my parents I wanted a 30GB or so, they got me the 120, go figure
