I found a Finnish class, it's just in Minnesota off in the middle of the woods somewhere. Not happening anytime soon!

That's my problem with literature. I can't get into it for some reason and I keep doing poorly in the class because of it. I don't mind reading classic literature, I just hate being told to analyze the hell out of it to find some underlying meaning that the author probably didn't intend to be there in the first place.

lol maybe you'll be better off with Rosetta Stone or something :p
yea I hate that too... I love reading and am even a pretty decent writer... but when it comes to literature itself, I'll read it if it's interesting... but I hate answering questions about it. it's like... I don't care what so-and-so did :o

There's no Finnish version of Rosetta Stone. I have the German version though, I'm just too lazy to install it since my cd drive broke in my laptop and I haven't the patience to pull the external out.

In my literature class we ended up having to analyze Poe so much it killed it for me. I loved Poe before the class, now I can't bear to read it and I'm an avid reader.

hm might want to try that, or else it's a waste :p
yea literature can do that... it's just overkill I guess. and I don't really see the point anyway.

I can kind of see the point, except for analyzing.

I didn't buy it, my friend got it for me. I don't even know if he did it legally. I'll probably use it once I get my laptop fixed, I just don't have the $300 to do that at the moment. People who fix computers charge unfair prices and I can't fix laptops.

Well, one guy, but he charges a lot too and there's no guarantee he'd actually fix it.

lol that's a problem then.
I'd say ask my dad, he's a computer guy... but dunno how good he is at actually fixing external stuff. plus that would be a bit far to go just to fix something :p

Well, technically the cd drive in my laptop is internal. I just use an external one when I need to do stuff like uploading cds.

yea the CD drive on this computer doesn't work right for some reason... at least for ripping CDs... I always end up ripping them on my mom's computer and then moving them to this one.
