Sadly, I am a Wacken Virgin. I am definitely going next year. What about you?
I have been to Wacken twice, in 2003 and 2008. both times were great, I'd love to go each year. Though 2003 was better in one way, a lot less crowded. If you go be sure to camp, don't try to stay in a hotel. The camping experience is a lot of fun.

Yes, I am planning on camping. I am hoping that at least a couple of my favorite bands will be there next year. A few are recording new albums so you would think they would want to play their new stuff there.

Yeah, that makes sense. I've been following the billing since 2000 and each year there quite a lot of good bands on the billing. And of course some that you would not want to see.

I drink a little, but not very often. I drink maybe once or twice a week, and not in excess. I don't drink a lot at WOA, the beers are expensive and I want to keep the memories in tact.

I am planning on going with a couple of people, all of which have very different tastes in metal so it should be interesting.
I think it's kind of stupid to travel all the way to Germany and Wacken just to get drunk and not be fully able to enjoy everything about the experience. I could always get loaded here if that was my goal.
Yeah for sure. The cool thing about Wacken is the wide variety of bands, there's something for everyone. My taste is kind of broad so I like a lot of bands there.
