maybe my mother can´t travel to Egypt tomorrow and don´t get the money back

European Law obliges air companies to refund 100%!!! European Laws go above national laws, thus above German laws.

But damages etc. cannot be replaced. Just refund or other means of transportations. But that's a bit difficult for other continents.

In this case, I think nobody gets a refund. I don´t know the english word....("act of God") ?!?!

Die Flugunternemen sind verpflichtet eine Erstattung der Reisesumme zu geben. Europäisches Gesetz! Mehr aber nicht. Keine Schaden, nur die Reisesumme zurück geben, oder einen anderen Weg finden.
