The venue I went to last month had a beer store I actually ended up parking at, it was pretty close. The venue itself was really small and didn't sell its own beer. So nice location for those that want it, I guess.
Shows here are all in licensed venues down here these days. Would really suck being under 18. They don't seem to do under 18s metal shows any more.
Save some for me.

That sucks. All the ones here are all ages basically. Except one, and luckily I had turned 18 just a couple months before.

Crap. I'm trying to post on another forum I'm on for metal in Atlanta asking about set times for tonight's show since I don't want to bother sitting through Arsis. But conveniently that forum's down.

Nah don't think so. They sent out emails not long ago saying that if you became a fan on Facebook, you could get in a special express line to the show. So that would make showing up early mostly pointless.
Most of the venues here 2000 capacity and under are all over 18s. In melbourne we can't have all ages shows in these places, it has to be over18s or under 18s, stupid bloody law.
So the only all ages shows are big shows like Machine Head or lamb Of God or bigger or the festivals.
Wasn't like that in my day.

I should really figure out somewhere else to park at that venue so I don't have to pay parking. Maybe at that one random place I keep having to turn around at when I miss the turn into the parking lot.

Cool. We're all lazy bastards down here. most people check the band times then go to the pub til the band they want to see is playing.
