Yeah I wish that was possible. Or at least I wish I could afford to travel to Europe each summer. If I lived on the East Coast like kris and Holly it would be easier and cheaper.

I'm sorry to hear that. Have you lost interest in festival overall? The billing this year is quite good IMO, though I have seen many of the better bands before.

I never went to festivals for the billing, I went for the atmosphere and people. And Wacken has during the last few years more and more turned into a way too big tourist attraction. To me there's no spirit anymore, I'll rather spend my money on smaller festivals with cool people

Well hawaii has it's good and bad points, like anywhere else. For me it is and always has been home, but I'd be open to move if it was to the right place.

Well for me the billing is a HUGE reason to go to WOA since I don't get to see much metal here anymore. Of course the atmosphere is very important and i agree that the atmosphere was not as good at WOA 2008 as it was in 2003 when it was smaller, but i still enjoyed it a lot. Smaller festivals would also be great if i had the opportunity to go to more than one.

To me Hawaii is like WOA, it was better years ago than it is now but it's still good. Sometimes I do get sick of it here and wish i could be someplace else though. In many ways we are very limited here.
