Yea really. But I like the idea of a phone being a back up for when you don't have a computer nearby. Like if I'm lost in Europe and need to look up the nearest hostel or train station.

yeah in that case it might come in handy .. but for the rest of the time its not of any use .. esp for someone like me who has net at home & work ..

I'm about to just say screw it and go with AT&T or something.

yeah my phone is also is a very simple phone that doesnt have much features and i like it like that .. i only use it for making calls & texting .. i leave the internet surfing for the PC

Exactly, that's all I need mine to do. I need to have the ability to text since it's my daughter's main form of communication. I only text her, nobody else. My phone also has a camera on it, but I never use it. And yeah I'd rather surf the internet on my home computer.
