I know I've mentioned it before
But I still cant stop laughing about that mate of mine who tied his tent shut with shoelaces so we couldn't prank him in the night. he woke up 2 hours later busting for a piss and couldn't get out. So he pissed al over the inside of his own tent. Luckily it was the 2nd last night.

I went all the way to Rostock with Turisas facepaint before I washed it off

And my last shower in Europe was before Bloodstock. Felt sorry for the guys next to me on the bus/flight after

There was the mate of mine who ran past and dacked a woman while she was having her photo taken.
I don't normally condone behaviour like this but i just pissed myself laughing.
He just kept running after the act and was long gone before she realised what had happened.
If that had been caught on film it would be a youtube classic

Jesse and Carmine didn't shower either I don't think. They showered once at Wacken each, but, there was about three days of metalfest they didn't shower. There's a reason why I'm glad I wasn't seated next to my ex on the way back.

I of course took a long shower with Malthe flipping the light switch on and off.

I know these people from way back, except for Smoo who we met around Europe, put us together and it's bad news, put us together at Wacken and it was a hilarious nightmare, add Smoo and you just don't want to know, except now I've told you.

I tend to be more reserved until the others tend to be a bit silly. Then I get silly as hell

This year I have to remember to talk to and hang out with our neighbors at festivals. I might have to seeing I'm going to one maybe solo.

i was solo at every 09 fest I went to.
Hellfest I met 2 Canadians at the airport waiting for a train but lost them at the festival entrance. Camped by myself but met them at other times and even met a few travelling Aussies and ex-Aussies i'd known and ranted at randoms most of the time.
Graspop I was talking (and getting smashed) with a large group of Brits on the train from brussels. Camped with them for the weekend. Top lot.
Same at Metal Camp. Got the overnight train from Switzerland. Got wasted with a big Swiss crew and camped with them. Awesome people.
By the time I got to Obscene Extreme i'd been in contact with British band Joe Pesci. Caught up with them in Prague, got the bus out there with them and found they had a spare bed at their hotel so we were sorted. Lovely lovely people.

Yea it's not too hard to find people.

Didn't have any luck at Bloodstock but I found a group of 3 Germans and 3 Brits at the second to last train station before Brutal Assault and it was too late at night for the last connection. Ended up at a pub, they got drunk and me and the Brits were asleep by 4am And ended up camping with them at the fest.
