This actually freaked my Danish friend out when he was visiting and needed to pee while walking in a park. He almost just went and I was like NOOO! don't do that :|

Yeah I did not think it was legal anywhere in the U.S., And I know how that public urination thing goes, it's hell when you need to go and are nowhere near a public toilet. Shear torture! Not a good law IMO.

My friend's old bassist after practice peed in a bush at 2am with nobody around and a cop apparently came by and busted him. His life is ruined over it pretty much.

That's just wrong! Cops wasting their time on stuff like that when there's real crime to be attending to.

Not really at 2am I guess. Over here they're bored out of their mind at that time except the occasional car accident, noisy neighbor complaints and robbery. None of which are common, so they go after drunks who pee in bushes.
