I like it! And I don't know about BaWü, but in SH where I've been, everyone says "moin" to each other. Regardless if you know the person or not. (eigene Erfahrung)

In Switzerland it is "grüetzi" (or something like that) (apart from "bonjour" et "bongiorno".)
